Pocket Constitution

Boy, I've done it now. I'm one of those guys who now has in my possession a pocket version of the Constitution, Amendments and the Declaration of Independence. You know what amazes me? It's so small yet not really small print. The document that established the United States of America does not occupy volumes and volumes of legalese and incomprehansible legal jargon and doublespeak.

The founding fathers were very intelligent and amazingly concise, direct and comprehensible in what they put in writing. It's taken over 230 years to try to undo what they did. Hopefully it will take hundreds more without succeeding.
